All these excavated stones were part of a royal court that was here around 500 AD, 30 cm or so beneath the current ground level. That description is probably horribly wrong, but it’ll do for now.

Another monolith that was lying down like the other one, but stood up by archaeologists in the forties, for better viewing.



A man falling to his death, and a serpent figure (bottom). I’m not sure what the significance of this is yet.
